One Mandala Status Update :: August 2026

We have been focusing on building One Mandala for the past years, in order to get our vision to the mobile platform. That journey has been longer and more difficult than expected, and has taken a lot of time and resources to get right. 

Mobile app development world is a complete different beast compared to desktop apps, so we've had to re-think a lot of things from the ground up to deliver the best UI for both mobile and tablet devices. 

Now we are in a position where we can really proud of our work, as we are getting closer to version 1.0.9 which is completing the initial vision and milestone for One Mandala 🙂 

Tracing feature is one of the more cooler features, that allows you to create very beautiful mandala patterns in a fast way.

How it works is, that you animate one or more layers, turn on tracing and watch how the animated layers create beautiful, organic feeling digital mandala patterns, right before your eyes. 

Instead of taking hours to do by hand, the tracing feature allows you to create intricate, beautiful sacred geometry mandala art in minutes 🙂 

This rapid and fast creation of art from emptiness, can trigger a good feeling and bring meaning to your day: creating art is healing!

You are manifesting beauty out of emptiness, it can be very therapeutic to see that happen. Previously you were limited by manual tools like the pen and compass, that would taken hours to capture the energy of the moment into a pattern.

With One Mandala, you are literally creating beautiful light patterns in seconds, always finding new alive feeling mandalas in the interference of living animated light 🌀

Happy to see this feature implemented, now we are feature complete on original One Mandala 1.0 plans 🙂

We released One Mandala 1.0 back in April 2025. So it has been a 1.5 years out now, and we have been getting some users already excited about our app, but we have been just iterating also and seeing the pain points of getting people to use our app. 

We have identified some of those and plan now to seek ways to make it easier for people to get into our app, and also get excited to stay in the app.

One big thing we hope will improve the Fun Factor (tm) in our app will be:

We have been planning and building something completely new, that will enable much more happiness:

• Sharing and remixing art with other mandala creator community members from all around the world 
• Become part of a global community of mandala creators, in the forefront of modern digital art
• Enabling you to become an artist! Many others have already with our apps, the act of creating and sharing mandala art can be very rewarding! 

We hope to build a community that will enable joyous interaction between artists all around the world, who are using our app to create beautiful living mandala creations, and sharing this beauty with the world 🙂
